THUNG KULA RONG HAI

This arid flat land covers Roi Et, Mahasarakham, Sirin, and Buriram. The name "Thung Kula Rong Hai" means "The Weeping Field of the Kula". Kula is a nomadic group of people known for their endurance and patience. Formerly known as the driest part of the country, this area is now under a land reform scheme.
