The principal attraction in this UNESCO World Heritage Site is its archaeological pottery items. BanChiang earthenware is world-widely known as the origin of a pre-historic civilization, 3,000 to 7,000 years ago : the Bronze Age. The archaeological hypothesis is that patterns on earthware are the oldest pot design in the world.
