Called 'SopRuak' in Thai, this former notorious Golden Triangle is now famous for its picturesque landscape of the confluence of MaeNam Ruak and the Maekhong (Mekong) River. Both of them serve as the natual boundary to Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
