BoSang is well-known as the "umbrella village" as it has produced a large number of decorative umbrellas by hands. The umbrellas have wooden handles, bamboo ribs and coverings of either oiled rice paper, silk, or cotton. Other handicrafts are also sold here e.g. silverware, celadon and lacquerware.
