Wat Arun, or the 'Temple of Dawn' in Thai, is located on the west bank of ChaoPhraya River. It is striking in its prangs (Khmer -style chedis) which are ornamented with millions of glittering pieces of colorful Chinese porcelain. Its main prang is 79 meter-high or 20-storey-high, the highest of its type inThailand. Climbing up its main prang of Wat Arun would reward the best viewpoint for the vicinity panorama.
