Wat PhraKaeo or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is renowned as the most beautiful and sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. It houses Phra KaeoMorakot, the Emerald Buddha, the most highly revered Buddha image carved from a single block of fine jade. Wat PhraKaeo resides in the same compound of the Grand Palace which is adorned with colorful intricate mosaics and richly glittering spires to be heaven on earth. Once enter, visitors would feel as if they are in the 'City of Angles'.
